I don’t need to know the etymology of falafel or hear about some random person’s transcendental trip to Italy, where they fell in love with gnocchi. Just give me a quick introduction to the recipe, the ingredients list, and the instructions. And that’s all you’ll get here. Simple and straightforward.

People Assume Vegan Eating Must Be Difficult

It doesn’t have to be. All too often people assume they will have to sacrifice all their favorite foods and then focus on that loss. But you don’t have to! You still want to eat cheeseburgers? Go for it. Spaghetti and meatballs? Sure. Sweet and sour chicken? Yep. Greek gyros? Got it. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes? One of my favorites. Ice cream? Absolutely.

So much of ANY change, whether it be diet or anything else, comes down to your frame of mind. Keep an open mind and focus on all the wonderful foods you have yet to try instead of mistakenly grasping at the perceived negatives.
